Universal Studios Singapore Sentosa Island

Universal Studios Singapore is a popular theme park located on Sentosa Island in Singapore. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the country, offering visitors a range of thrilling rides, shows, and attractions based on popular movies and TV shows.

As the park can become very busy at times, we recommend to always arrive as soon as the park opens to ensure you can enjoy every minute the park is open.

If rides are not really your thing, you can also enjoy a variety of dining and shopping options throughout the park, as well as special events and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.

Some of the most popular rides and attractions at Universal Studios Singapore include:

Battlestar Galactica

HUMAN vs. CYLON – A high-speed roller coaster ride that features two parallel tracks, allowing riders to experience a battle between humans and robots.

Transformers: The Ride

A 3D ride that takes visitors on an immersive adventure with the Autobots and Decepticons.

Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure

A water ride that takes visitors on a thrilling journey through the Jurassic Park theme park, featuring animatronic dinosaurs and a steep drop at the end.

The Mummy Returns

A roller coaster ride that takes visitors on a high-speed chase through an ancient Egyptian tomb.

Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase

A fun ride designed for younger children that takes them on a space adventure with Elmo and his friends.

In addition to these rides, Universal Studios Singapore also features a range of shows and attractions, including the Hollywood Dreams Parade, Shrek 4-D Adventure, and the Waterworld show.

The park has a variety of dining options throughout the park. Here are some of the restaurants that are currently open

Mel’s Drive-In

American diner-style restaurant serving burgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes.

KT’s Grill

Buffet-style restaurant with a variety of international cuisine.

Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor

Serves New York-style pizza and other Italian dishes.

Marty’s Casa Del Wild Food Court

 Serves a range of Asian and Western dishes, including Korean, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine.

Oasis Spice Cafe

Serves Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, including curries, kebabs, and falafel.


Serves pastries, cakes, and sandwiches.


Serves fish and chips, burgers, and other pub-style food.

There are also several kiosks and snack stands throughout the park that offer snacks and drinks, such as popcorn, ice cream, and soft drinks.

Keep in mind the restaurant availability and opening hours are subject to change, so it’s always a good idea to check the Universal Studios Singapore website or ask park staff for the most up-to-date information.

Opening hours

Monday to Thursday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday to Sunday and Public Holidays: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm

Please note that these opening hours are subject to change, and visitors are advised to check the park’s official website or contact them directly to confirm the current operating hours before their visit.


The theme park is located on Sentosa Island, which is easily accessible by car, taxi, or public transportation. Visitors can take the Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity shopping mall or the Singapore Cable Car from Mount Faber or Harbourfront to get to Sentosa Island.

Once on the island, visitors can take a free shuttle bus or walk to Universal Studios Singapore.
