Looking for online Grocery shopping in Singapore?

With the advent of online grocery shopping platforms, grocery shopping in Singapore doesn’t have to be a chore anymore. Fresh produce, hot deals, and crowd favourites are simply a click away and delivered right to your doorstep.

Here’s a comparison of the 8 online grocery platforms in Singapore and their respective delivery fees.

For individuals who are used to shopping at big supermarket chains:

NTUC Fairprice Online (Fairprice On)

Delivery fee: $5 for orders below $59, $3 for orders $59 to $78.99, and free for orders $79 and above
Highlights: Clearance items, purchase-with-purchase specials, and free recipes are available

NTUC Fairprice is Singapore’s largest grocery retailer, with over 230 outlets island-wide. They have since expanded online as well, boasting a wide range of grocery items.

For those who recently made the switch to shopping online, don’t fret thinking that you may be missing out on deals. The deals offered at Fairprice On are similar to offline shopping, with clearance items and purchase-with-purchase specials available.

However, though Fairprice On’s products are generally affordable, their prices pale in comparison with budget supermarkets like Giant and Sheng Siong.

Giant

Highlights: Unique Click & Collect system at preferred stores for orders above $30

Giant has one of the best discounts in town. You can look forward to giant savings while shopping on their online grocery shopping platform.

The best feature has got to be their Click & Collect system, which allows you to beat the queues and self-collect at your preferred stores. The cut-off time for same-day self-collection is before 6pm.

This is great for individuals who have difficulty hitting the $70 for free delivery. $30 is more manageable and you can still enjoy the convenience of ordering online instead of jostling with the crowds.
